1. Grade 6 Language Arts – today we reviewed parts of speech (adverbs, adjectives, nouns, verbs, pronouns). Students will have a redo on a worksheet tomorrow
   HOMEWORK = 20 minutes of silent reading is a daily expectation; review parts of speech

1. Grade 5 Social Studies – today we examined what archaelogists do in examining history NO HOMEWORK.

1. Grade 8 Social Studies – finished our look at how Newcomers/Settlers to North America met their economic needs and how that compared to Indigenous Nations in pre-industrial times. Started an examination of The Impacts of Contact. NO HOMEWORK.

1. Grade 7 Social Studies – we are examining how culture is transmitted. Students took down notes for this and worked on questions. HOMEWORK = Activity questions 1, 2, 4 on p.17 of ‘Culture Quest’

1. Grade 6 Makerspace = worked on using Silhouette Studios software to create vinyl stickers. NO HOMEWORK
