Will take place November 7^th at 10:00 am. The ceremony is open to the public and students are asked to please try to wear red.

Math:

We will review doubles at the beginning of this week and move on to doubles + 1. It is important that students know their doubles as we use this strategy to solve doubles + 1.  The “doubles” math strategy is

adding a number to itself, such as 5+5=10. This is a foundational strategy for more complex addition and is very important to move forward. The doubles + 1 strategy is a number to itself plus 1 more.

• After a consonant: Examples: lunch, bench, punch
• After a long vowel or a vowel team: Examples: peach, beach
