• Dismissal time is 2:50pm
• Student fee is $25.  
• Please do not send personal items such as toys to school.
• Please try to take a quick peek in your child’s homework bag and agenda each night. Please sign and return your child’s agenda and homework bag each day. Homework folders can stay home for the week (return on Friday’s or the last day of the week).

Terry Fox Walk:

The Terry Fox Walk will take place September 19^th. Pledge sheets will be sent home this week. More details about walking times and activities will be sent home closer to the walk. There is also an online donation page available at :

Math:

We spent the first week of school reviewing numbers 0-100. We will continue with this concept this week and look at skip counting by 2’s and 10’s.

Literacy:

We have been establishing routines and reviewing concepts from grade 1. The focus of last week was letter recognition (sound and print) as well as reviewing proper printing techniques. We will be easing our way into writing and decoding words for reading this week.
